  12. **Windows CD MATCH instructions**
  13.  
  14. A single executible supports the following localized versions of
  15. Windows; English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.  
  16.  
  17. To run CD MATCH under Windows
  18.  
  19. Windows 3.1x -- From the Program Manager, choose FILE-RUN and
  20. enter x:\WINDOWS\CDMATCH where x: represents the CD-ROM drive
  21. that contains CD MATCH files.

  23. Windows 95   -- From the Windows Desktop Taskbar choose 
  24. START-RUN and enter x:\WINDOWS\CDMATCH where x: represents the 
  25. CD-ROM drive that contains the CD MATCH files.

  27. Known limitations:
  28. 1.  You may encounter screen refresh and desktop painting problems 
  29.     with Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 video cards with a Video Bios 
  30.     earlier than 3.0.  CD MATCH is compatible with Video Bios
  31.     version 3.0 and version 7.0 drivers.
  32. 2.  If you have a ProAudio Spectrum 16 board installed under a
  33.     Windows 95, CD MATCH will rate your system as having 8 bit sound
  34.     if the board's DMA is set to 1 or 3, because Windows 95 reserves
  35.     these interrupts for 8 bit sound. If the board is set to
  36.     interrupts 5, 6 or 7, CD MATCH will identify the board as a 16
  37.     bit board.

  43. To run CD MATCH you must first open an OS/2 command window.  Type
  44. x:\OS2\CDMATCH where x: represents the CD-ROM drive that contains
  45. the CD MATCH files.

  48. Note:  If the CD MATCH inventory screen does not appear after the
  49. title screen, then open the WINDOWS LIST box and select the
  50. first CD MATCH on the list.  This will bring focus to a CD MATCH
  51. message box.  Click OK to continue with the system inspection.
